I need to replace my cabin filter on my 2020 Mazda CX-30 2.5L engine, I purchased a Baldwin PA10194 that is supposed to be compatible but noticed it is slightly thinner so it doesn't allow the pull tabs to lock in place, has anyone found an aftermarket cabin filter that fits? Also I was wondering if anyone has found a engine air filter replacement for this vehicle as well or is OEM the only option here in Canada? Thank you.

and what did that thinner filter cost you? It's not going to be a very good seal in the slot and not as effective in its use.

OEM is $35USD: 2019-2020 Mazda Air Filter BDGF-61-J6X | Mazda-Parts

In this video, the guy is replacing the filter with an Luber Finer #CAF10055P (which RockAuto sells along with the Baldwin filter).
In the video, the Luber Finer one fits perfectly.

Did mine. I ordered from rock auto. I went with the 2021 Mazda 3 2.5l and the air filter model is #CAF10055P. Seem rock auto has nothing for cx30 cabin air filter.

Fit nicely just pay attention to the air flow arrow when installing.

Just fyi. Mazda did some changes to the cabin air filter and engine air filter in 2019. Anything 2018 are useless.

Paid $51 for my cx30 cabin filter from a Mazda dealership in Buffalo. Found some matches online but reviews mentioned being thinner, didn’t want to try. Good to know the 2021 Mazda 3 2.5l cabin filter fits too, seems a bit longer.
