welcome, that is exactly the model and colour that interests me.

Does this specific model have idle stop and go (can't seem to find confirmation of this in the Mazda specs)?

No stop and go, only the highest trim has cylinder deactivation (which is not the same as stop and go).

i was looking at the door cill protectors from ebay, i take it they are a good fit and quality...

Fit is good and quality is ok (would perfer thicker plastic backing)... I like this design more than the the genuine one.
