Hi all
I have a cx30 with standard audio system. Seems like most of the owners like the sound of it, but I noticed that for back passengers, there is barely sound coming from the back speakers. Certainly no low, inferior quality high, and clearly lesser volume than what's coming from the front speakers.
In the front seats the audio quality is 'fine" but passengers at the back seem to be forgotten.
Do the test and fade out the front speakers, you will hear what is left over. ...
Anyone share those experiences and how to solve (upgrade) eventually ?
Thanks for experiences or suggestions

Standard stereo caters to the front passengers. Only remedy is upgrading to aftermarket to satisfy your rear passengers needs.

You can adjust the settings for front/back focused sound levels, & there is also a nice setting that optimizes the sound for the front driver position only (which if turned on, will likely diminish the sound experience for the other sections of the vehicle).

Who's going to be in the back seat that really matters or cares? In my CX-30, if I'm in the front seat, there's barely room behind me for anything but an infant and they won't care what the stereo sounds like back there. Most younger kids nowadays tend to have their phone with earbuds of some sort and are not listening to anything that the other passengers might be saying or what is coming out of the car's sound system. At least that's what I think. ;)

The sound going to the back speakers is controlled by the amp software.Installing better speakers won't do anything.
Really?
So $10 speakers will sound the same as ones for $150?
Hmmm….I am no audiophile and know jack about stereos, so just asking.
