I have a question about the automatic rain-sensing wipers. I came across this information and not sure if it is for all car's with automatic rain-sensing wipers.

Transmission In NEUTRAL Position — When the
ignition is ON, and the transmission is in the NEUTRAL
position, the Rain Sensing system will not
operate until the wiper switch is moved, vehicle speed
is greater than 5 mph (8 km/h), or the shift lever is
moved out of the NEUTRAL position.

Not sure, but why do you need wipers while sitting in neutral??
