I'm guessing there's no warning sound with this camera which seems rather strange. This morning I backed up to my garage door to test it. The red line was right there, but no warning signal.

I haven't had the chance to look at mine, but one thing to check is that the Parking Sensor button isn't turned off (see pic below)

I looked at mine just now and it's the same as yours. No 'parking' button like what's shown in the manual. I also couldn't find a setting for it in the console menus.

US Preferred model does not have warning sounds on the backup camera.

I don’t believe the backup sensors are available in the US market. Interesting, I think they’re standard in the UK on all trim levels, although surprisingly the UK base model doesn’t come with a backup camera.
