Hi everyone.
Recently, I've noticed the so-called creep groan noise from front brakes. The sound appears especially in the morning, when it is relatively cold and I'm slowly moving around the parking lot, just as I'm releasing the brake pedal. I understand the origin of it to be the brake pads grabbing the rotors while engine spins them ant that causes the stick-slip vibration. However, it is the only thing that is bothering me as everything else is so nice and quiet and all of a sudden grrrr!!! The sound usually fades away after few stops, probably because brakes heat up.
It's an automatic transmission, Skyactiv-X, about 2000 km so far. Dealer says it is normal. However, I'm still hoping the noise will go away after some time. Do you also have this "issue"?
