This is more a question, then an issue.
The car is CX-30 AWD 2020
When the car is cold after parking for several days, pressing the brakes or changing the gear from Rear to Drive or visa versa produce some metal clipping sound. It is not very loud and you cannot hear that when your windows is closed. You can actually hear that from outside.
This is the first time I have automatic transmission. And it is actually relatively cold here in Canada (below zero). The car is kept in closed parking.
The car has passed regular service checkup approximately a couple of weeks ago. They checked and told everything is OK, so they just changed the oil. I don't remember if the car was giving any sound before the checkup. But I was not listening to it before. As I mentioned earlier, you cannot hear it when the windows are closed.
Do you have something like this? Is it normal or I shall make an appointment with the service again?

I haven't heard anything like this on mine.. Tho the skyactive G accelerated warmup process that advances the engine timing sounds like metal in a can rattling around which is normal for the skyactiv G engine..I usually wait 30 seconds to a minute and a half for it to complete. The transmission on the other hand has a cable driven control going from the shifter to the transmission to select park drive ETC so you might be hearing that or the park gate disengagement.

Just to revive this if anyone hears a sound when depressing the brake pedal during driving, I have that too and the owner's manual says it's normal. I can hear a faint sound (something between a pump and a click) while depressing the brake pedal, but only during driving. If the car is stopped and I press the pedal, I don't hear anything.
Mine is Skyactiv-G, 800 kilometres, not turbo, it's a European model, 2.0 FWD, MT. The owners manual mentions this and what it says seems to me to be quite close to what I'm hearing so I suppose it's the same thing. Maybe it's different for you since yours is automatic, I don't know.
I've had this since taking delivery so I guess it's fine. Lots of moving parts and lots of electronics and the manual says this is the brake assist making the sound.
Obviously I can also hear the shift while changing gears, not always but sometimes.

On a more general note, I've noticed the manual in several places says a sound can be heard and it does not indicate a problem/malfunction so I guess there are a number of things in the car that make a noise, but it's nothing to worry about. The car is very quiet so we hear more things moving around.

For the OP, I had a car, I don't remember which one, and if it was parked for even a few days it would surface rust the brake rotors. The first two or three times applying the brakes would make definite scraping/grinding noises as the pads cleaned it off. Just what you get in very humid gulf coast Texas. That may be the brake noise sounds.
