I've got 2700 miles on mine and it still has that "new car burning" smell after being parked. That smell typically fades after whatever coatings and whatnot have burned off the engine and surrounding components. It's a very pungent smell of hot rubber and who knows what. Anyone else experiencing this?

Yep. It happened with my 2020 3.
Gone after about a month and 1500 miles. Or it faded to point where I no longer noticed. It was especially notable when parking in the garage.

Yes, same here, though mine is around 200 km so far.

I had it on the 30 for the first few hundred miles and on a previous mx-5 for about 1000 miles. I believe its a coating on the exhaust there for shipping etc.

I have. It's normal. I'm at 2,100 miles and it's still there but fading.

It's normal. Mine did that the first month or so.
