My first Kia was a 2008 Rondo EX, then I traded it and got a 2012 Soul 4u, and now my 2016 Soul SX. All of them I did not have a single power-train problem. The Rondo I had 4 problems all covered under warranty, nothing major; the Soul 4u I only had one single problem with it (fogged up backup camera), my current Soul which I have now owned for over four years I have not had a single problem. So they have been very reliable and cheap to maintain.Wow, I had three Kia's too. A Sportage and two Souls. Liked them and never had problems untill the 2014 seized due to lack of oil. The best part is the dealer had no explanation, they did however cover half the cost to remanufactured the engine. I am now the proud owner of a CX-30 GT. Love it and the Mazda reliability, non-turbo engine, non CVT combined with luxury did it for me.
