CX-30 rear visibility concerns

Has anyone noticed how restrictive the CX-30's rear visibility is? Those thick C-pilars and small rear windshield are concerning. Belt line also seems higher that on any existing Mazda utility vehicle. If this is truly the case then standard advanced safety technology will be necessary. Mazda can't reasonably expect consumers to use it without that tech with lower trims.

Not a problem for me as the mentioned safety systems make up for it. Mazda is doing the right thing.

It will take some time getting used to using those systems.
Even with them i'll be looking over my shoulder just to make sure and using all mirrors.
Based on this review there doesn't seem to be a big concern for visibility.

That video really helps. What also does is driving the CX-30 for yourself. It might not be that bad.
