I ordered some aluminium mesh for the lower grill opening, but when I was looking closely I saw that not only the lower grill has shutters but also the upper.

Will try and get some good pics.

Since all of the pictures I’ve seen show the radiators behind the grills I’m wondering if these shutters are only on certain models or markets.

Недоступно на азиатском рынке независимо от того, какой у вас уровень отделки салона.

Well it makes sense for cooler climates as the main benefit is the coolant based cabin heat exchanger, secondary to a leaner burn from getting the engine up to temperature.

Compare this to certain Honda SUVs with the 1.5 Turbo reminiscent of the VW Beetle gas heaters of yore…Cripes I’m showing my age, lol

I remember them, as I had one in my 1966 VW 1600 Fastback I used to own many decades ago. It was a great feature to heat up the vehicle quick! 😄
