Does anyone have complaints about long duration seat comfort? Normally, i have zero issues with seats . My cx9 and my gti had excellent seats where i could drive easily 400 mile legs with zero back discomfort. I find with my cx30 premium that after an hour and a half my back is killing me. No amount of sear or lumbar adjustment seems to correct this. I especially find this off as the seats in the cx9 are excellent.
Steve56, did you find a position that helps? I have the exact same problem. No cars in the 35 years of driving have given me the back pain that the CX-30 does. I also drive long distances in my 2021 Golf GTE with no issues. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I just finished a 2800 mile roadtrip.

Three, seven hours days out; and one, 22 hour day back.

I had no issues on either leg of the trip. No hip, or back problems to speak of. No sciatica flair ups in my bad leg either.

Had I tried to make this trip in my previous vehicle (RAV4), I would have been crippled by the end of the first day.

I have the same issue; only I can't stand it after 20 minutes. Its like a huge bump or rock under your butt. Hopefully its just a couple of cars and they can replace the seat to fix it!
Pretty hard to build a seat that fits every different shape of mankind. (Although Volvos are close).
For every one complaint here there are likely more than ten times that amount that don’t have an issue.

Unless one can feel, with their hands, lumps or ridges, actual deformities in the seat, it's the seater(?) The seat should be supporting the entire contact area, the pressure uniformly distributed, not just the sit bones or hips. It will otherwise feel like lumps at the higher pressure areas, ie, the sit bones. If, after trying the adjustments in the manual, it has not improved, go back to the dealer and driver another of the same model and trim level. Feel the same,? have the dealer go thru the driver seat adjustments with you. Yes, I know, you've driven cars for x number of years, you don't need no instructions! Me too, 60 years+, until I followed the instructions, ...the ones in the manual...my butt and back stubbornly refused to "get used to it".
