I'm experiencing shaking of the driver's side mirror above 50 mph or so. It seems to be worse on windy days, but it's VERY annoying to me. The passenger side does not seem to have any shaking. Nothing seems loose or out of place.

Is anyone else having this issue?

I had the same issue with mine. I was going to take it for service, before the pandemic, but decided to gimbal the mirror to see if it made any difference. It seems to have reduced the vibration however it does still seem to be effected in windy conditions. It is annoying. I had a similar issue in my first gen CX-5 and had to have it fixed.

What was the fix? A new housing altogether or just the mirror part?

It wasn't a fix rather a work around that seemed to improve the situation. Move the mirror through all its positions up, down, left / right and see if it helps at all. This worked for me. When I had the mirror fixed on my first gen CX-5 they replaced the mirror and mount the mirror itself is attached to - not the exterior housing. For whatever reason i have seen this is an issue on some Mazda models i.e. CX-9, CX-5, Mazda 3 (latest version) and now CX-30. It seems to always be the drivers mirror. Like I said, this work around did improve the vibration in the mirror but it is still impacted by windy conditions so I may choose to have it looked at and corrected sometime in the future when life gets back to normal. Give it a shot and hopefully it will help for you as well.

Mine does this while driving on the highway.
Has anyone had this fixed ?
I kinda just have accepted it more less as mine is leased for 3 years so hopefully Mazda hears customers and fixes these little quirks by then 🙂 and I'm hoping to get the turbo engine from the Mazda 3 haha .

I have noticed this. Driver side mirror vibrates/shakes when I am driving on motorway. Very annoying, as I look at the mirrors every 10sec.
same thing is there on my 2021 mazda 3 sport 100th anniversary edition.. I guess i am just used to it from having a cx 30..

Mazda recently put out a TSB for the driver's side mirror vibration, affects CX-30 and Mazda3, hopefully it should be easy to get it fixed now at the dealers.

Getting this new glass with double sided tape fix in about a week or so, at the dealership. Will report back if it actually works.

May I know where did you see the CX-9 mirror vibration problem? I just got my CX9 and it has the same issue.
