NEW UPDATE Ver. 7000C0A-NA01_12004
For NORTH AMERICA ONLY
The following bug fixes...
Album artwork may not appear when playing music using an USB connected iPhone.
The center display may turn black when the gear is shifted from reverse position to parking position.
Screen freezes and goes to white screen, then the system reboots.
Steering wheel switches and commander switches cannot control the audio system.
DTC U3000:49 is stored which may be accompanied with following symptoms.
When using the navigation with head-up mode, the vehicle icon rotates.
Beep sounds every after couple of minutes.
Language setting may not be accepted correctly.
The audio track may not pause when pressing the mute button.
The system reboots.
The screen may turn black when trying to play a video file in the USB connected device.

Hi, could you send this firmware for American cx-30?
Just picked-up my cx-30 today ( EU, JP built) and the version shown is 12006. This should be fairly new right? (got one "unknown error" and restart when trying to set the home address in the navi and it worked at the second attempt, rest works fine).
I will check again the version. I explicitly asked my dealer to update it because the car was delivered in August but could not be picked-up earlier (paperwork, my doing, nothing to blame Mazda or the dealer). And somehow I had the impression that the latest version was 14xxx and was pissed about it. Then I came to check this forum and lo and behold, I am a beta tester@alphonse the latest available in the www for your connect system version is 12004, so you are even ahead

For BP Mazda3 and CX-30 TURBO Made Before July 1, 2021.
Some of the following bug fixes...
Ver. 7000C0A-NA04_12004 and later fixes these software errors (bugs):
Album artwork may not appear when playing music using an USB connected iPhone.
When the gear position is shifted into P from R, the screen may not return to the previous condition before shifting into R position.
The screen freezes and goes to a white screen, then the system reboots.
The steering wheel switches and commander switches cannot control the audio system.

I tried to send you a private conversation but it would not let me send it. I have a 2020 Mazda CX30 2.5L Non-Turbo North America. Could you send me a link for the latest firmware update? I am new to the forum and to the Mazda world but from what I can tell with mine it looks like it was never updated from the version it was on when the original owner purchased it but I like to always be up-to-date on maintenance and software updates so I would like to find out how to update this myself.

Super thread. We recently received our 2022 Mazda CX-30 GTX AWD today. We are in New Zealand and I just wanted to check with you to see that we on the most current release for our region? The dealer said it was, keen for a second opinion The ‘System Software’ shows -12004. Cheers, Mick
