I just updated the Gracenote data base on my CX-30 tonight. It was on its original version (1.1.1.01683) and updated to 1.1.1.02071. What was a little confusing was the message displayed as the update was installing. It displayed “Gracenote Database update 1.1.1.01683 is being installed.” when in reality 1.1.1.02071 is what was being installed. When it was done and I checked the database version it displayed the correct 1.1.1.02071. The data history listed both the original version and the updated version.

I attempted to update the Gracenote in my 2018 CX9. I currently have version 000.9 (really old). I confirmed the file was properly loaded onto my thumbdrive. When I go to update the database in my car it recognizes the thumbdrive, then tells me "no update available". I also confirmed its not in a sub-folder. I have used this same thumb drive to successfully update my firmware. Please help!

Let's get you over to the correct forum for the CX-9 instead of the CX-30

Even if I've updated Gracenote database, the only information about a song that a have is the song's title. Album Name and Artist Name is missing. It says "not available". Someone know the reason or has a suggestion for me? Thank you very much.
