Hi,

The daughter wanted an SUV for college and fell in love with the CX-30. So she now has a '21 one with AWD and tech turbo package so she can enjoy all the safety features and 360-degree eagle view. There are no features in it she misses from higher-end brands.

Indeed. I normally buy used ones. But technology is changing so fast. We wanted the 360° view for her to park fine and to have every new sensor. The idea was if one day she gets to avoid a collision or doesn't get to hit a pedestrian it was worthy. Don't think even cars from 2 years ago had the self driving and anti doze alarms available. Plus she is going to get a job someday and maybe be successful so it pays to be earn brownie points whenever possible.

Yes it is quite amazing the advancement in technology. The CX30s here in Thailand even have front 360 cameras. Some more expensive brands do not even offer that feature. The only feature I miss is cooled seats which is available on the CX5 here but not the CX30. Happy motoring.
