I'm looking at a 2020 CX-30 with Premium Package and the dealer told me navigation is not available at all with the CX-30, and that I'd have to use my phone. It certainly seems to me from looking on line that all you need is the SD card to have built-in navigation. I don't want to use a phone, just a built-in system. What's the truth?

It is available in Canada with use of SD card, though not sure if its by default coming with all trims. My GT has it and it also projects guidance and speed limits to the windshield's active driving display. What I want to mention that I find really annoying is that navigation lack the variety of locations for example Google's navigation has. Also it is hard to input the location with the round dial because no touchscreen is available and voice is complete nonsense. But yes it has it, pretty good, with traffic as well.

The GX and GS are navigation ready and require the optional SD card, in the GT it's standard.

I have the Premium package (US).I was shocked that it did not come with NAV. Dealer wanted $500 (just for an SD card). I found the OEM SD card on eBay for $50. Plugged it in. Works like a charm. What a shame Mazda!
