We were looking at the CX-30 and noticed this where the hood/door meet...is this intentional or did two people work on these parts separately and didn't match?
Hi , i did see a video on youtude, where this was pointed out....tbh in the veiwing/test drive we had i forgot to look. its simular on the cx3, from what i remember.
Honestly I can't say I've paid attention at that. Maybe it's like that for the door to open. That's the only reason I can think of for it to be like that if it's not a flaw.
Mine looks exactly the same as your post. Doesn't really look like a problem as I haven't even noticed it in the month I've had the vehicle, but I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Not a defect, mine is the same. I had a Mercedes GLA and it had the exact same detail. I was told the theory of this design is that it helps with reducing wind noise in the cabin.
