Happy New Years! Recently bought a 22 CX30 got aftermarket wheels and tires LP7’s 225/55/R18 matched with Falken AT WILDLEAKS. Also got the TEMA Lift Kit 40mm. Though had an issue worth the rear bump extender. So only installed the front kit. Anyways I’m having an issue with the driver side front camber it is currently sitting a little positive can’t remember exactly how much exactly. Though my passenger side is perfect so I was wondering if you had a similar issue. I do understand that you stuck with the factory wheels. Just looking for some input! Thanks!
Nate,
Did you get it figured out? I will be putting my lift on this weekend (if I’m not too lazy 😂)

So I did get mine put on I was unable to upload a pic. Though I ended yo just putting the front on not the rear. Which is the way I’ll leave it for now! My front left camber is at .8deg positive. Which is why I originally reached out!

Nate,
Was your issue with the rear shock extender the fact that the extended bolts wouldn’t fit through the shock? I had that issue, I’m waiting to hear back from TEMA.

In fact yes, along with having the holes not being cut straight. Every time I tried to install the bolts from the Mazda would push out the inner metal casing in the extender block. Though I’m not wanting to lift the rear after living with how it looks as of now nice and level!

I never had alignment issues with mine, an alignment shop should be able to fix your issue. Also the rear shock extenders are hard to get in due to bolt holes being ever so slightly to close together, also I drilled out the holes to fit the bolts, but they will work with enough effort

How did you get the bolts out of the strut tower connector, When the top of the strut was removed, there looked like there was no way to hammer out the small bolt or a way to install the larger bolt. I did not see a way to separate the two pieces
I just pulled min apart honestly been to long to remember exactly what I did but it was not hard to disassemble the top hat and get the bolts out. You just hammer out the stock studs and and pull new ones in with a nut.

The install was honestly a pain for the fronts. Though I’m continuing to do more mods put on the corksport Catback and just ordered the takeda intake. Really loving my build🙃 I have an option for ordering camber plates though I’m not even going to worry about it the positive camber is so minimal you can’t even notice.

Post a picture!
I just installed a lift kit from HRG Off-road. Did not need to disassemble the top of the strut. The 38mm spacer just bolted onto the strut. No alignment was needed however the wheels look to be out of alignment when the car is first lowered to the ground. Driving 10 feet cured the issue. I have added the Corksport skid plate and lower grill inserts. I also added a 2" hitch receiver from UHaul. The hitch cost 120.00. I used a plug and play kit specific for the CX30. I drilled a small hole in the firewall to route the wiring inside the car. I used a 4 pin to 7 pin trailer connection. Now I can use either a 4 pin or 7 blade connector. I have Wildpeak 225 55 R18 tires on 35mm offset wheels. I have almost 10" clearance under the car. Under the rear spring there is only 8.5' above the ground. The bottom of the hitch is 12" above ground.
