Looking to CX-30 for 2020 Ride

Hi guys,

Actually, there was a time when I thought Mazda would import the CX-4 to the States but that didn't happen. But the new CX-30 is definitely an upgrade from that vehicle
(new platform and many other features). If it meets my specs. I hope to make a move within the next few months. Wish they had a wider color pallet, Right now its red, silkver and machine grey on the list.

China is getting a lot of nice vehicles, not just from Mazda. I think over time we might see them come over.

Are you looking at any other vehicles at the moment?
Honestly, I've been looking for a small SUV mainly because ingress and egress on my Mazda 6 has been rough for this older overweight guy. I've looked at others over the last couple of years including Qashqai, Kicks, Rav 4 and Sportage. Mainly looking for best in class interior, styling and safety and equipment levels. Nothing really touches the CX-30 in this price class.

Agreed.

Its so good that even my own plans to buy a used luxury SUV from Lexus were put off. Those often have great ingress and egress too. Having it in something completely new and relatively affordable is even better.

The new Rav4 has been a big improvement though and I MIGHT check it out.
I do like the restyling on the RAV 4, but not a fan of the interior. Too busy with a large protruding screen which I can see being an obstruction and a distraction while driving. I like the minimalist nature of the CX30 interior. I'm soft touch obsessive and have rejected a lot of cars just because of hard plastic all over.
