It really does look a lot like the 3 when it's lowered.I like the wheels, the color, and the roof rack, but when it's lowered like this it reminds me of the Mazda3.
that looks like a CX-4, not a CX-30Here's another photo of a CX-30 with lowered suspension.
I'm with you I think it looks great. I think it could be popular to modify.that looks really cool. Dare I say, even cooler than the 3 hatch
Did you custom paint over some of the cladding along the wheel wells or have it removed? It looks so much better!!!!!This is what it looked like before lowering View attachment 406 View attachment 407
Sorry for the confusion, the photo is my CX-5.Did you custom paint over some of the cladding along the wheel wells or have it removed? It looks so much better!!!!!
Do you have a rough idea how much your CX-5 was lowered by? I'm just trying to get an idea about how low it is. It looks fantastic! As soon as a brand introduces lowering springs, I plan on lowering my wife’s 30. Nothing drastic, just to reduce the wheel-tire gap and soften out the big black plastic cladding. Its too awkward imo.
My lowered CX-5 on Eibach springs.
Pros- Improved cornering, reduced body roll on turns, can’t notice any difference in ride height, improved appearance (imo). Haven’t had any bottoming out issues
Cons: Bumpier ride over rough roads and my back hurt for 3 days after DIY install
