No other options for springs at the moment but confident in H&R’s since I had them on a BMW build in the past. Says the drop is 1.3” in front and rear. No plan to replace the stock shocks yet but most likely will go Bilstein when its time to replace.

Anyone else going to lower their 30?

No I like the ground clearance. It was one of the reasons I got the CX30.
I think the clearance and space even with the 18in tires makes it look aggressive.
To each their own though. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Our CX-30 is my wife's daily driver but I told her that I'd like to lower it a bit. If the ride is still pretty smooth, she probably would not even notice the drop.

This is my wife’s car as well. I have a 2018 CX-5 and it is lowered on Eibach’s and plus sized wheels to 20”

She just picked out some 20” Niche wheels so looking forward to seeing how everything fits and rides

Mazda UK lists the overall height at 1540mm (60.6 in).
Mazda Canada (no diminsions listed on U.S. site) as 1580mm or 61.7.

I gotta say the UK (and Euro) version looks much better with its reduced fender gaps. I think the car was designed to work with that ride height to begin with and they just jacked it up an inch for the N.A. Market.

Nice, looking forward to seeing the wheels as well. I have 17x8 6UL's with 245/40/17 Michelin PS4S's on my 2017 Miata RF and they look great. When the CX-30 needs new tires, I might look into some wheels for it.

Do you have pictures of your CX-5 posted anywhere?

Hi, is it possible to just lower the back springs? Or must one do all four? I'm a rookie at this sort of thing.

You would want to do all four or there would be an odd rake and the handling would be off.

Got the H&R Lowering Springs installed last month and finally getting around to updating this thread. I think it looks “normal” now. Handling was already amazing before the springs but corners much better with no body lean post install.

Honestly though, I didnt get the springs for the handling, just to fix the awkward lifted look which I wasnt a fan of.

Detailed installation instructions if anyone wants to save the $300-$400 shop labor to install. Took me about 3-4 hrs. These instructions are for Corksport springs on a CX-5 but can be used for the CX-30, almost identical.
