I like the way it minimizes the black plastic cladding without being black. The deep blue works pretty good for that too.
That’s exactly why we chose this colour! I had a black cx-3 before and swore never again. They look great but you can never keep the dust and pollen away long.

"Machine Gray was developed to express the beauty of a machine’s strength and precision. With strong contrast between light and shadow and a sleek, high-density finish, it gives the impression that the vehicle’s body has been sculpted from a solid steel ingot.

Traditionally, achieving such a finish was only possible with hand-painted concept cars using paint containing extremely thin aluminum flakes applied in multiple layers by master craftsmen. By further developing its TAKUMINURI1 painting technology originally created for Soul Red, Mazda has made it possible to achieve the look on mass-production vehicles using a three-coat paint structure consisting of color, reflective and clear coats."

Lovely colour.

For me it’s this or the Polymetal.

My only worry is how well the Machine Gray can be matched, god forbid following an accident.

I must admit i wasn't sure about the grey alloys before i bought the SE-L Lux, but i think they look quite nice, especially with the machine grey as they are a very similar shade

. Not sure what they would be like with other colours though.

They definitely work with the grey paint. I'd be curious to see them on other CX-30s as well.

Oh hot damn! How did you apply it & is it difficult? Looks gorgeous 😍
It's really easy. The new formulation states it on the top of the bottle. Works great. The sealant underneath is McKee's. Ideally I want to go back to Turtle Wax Seal N Shine. Turtle Wax used to be a joke, but they have come a long way.
