I'm a new owner of a Preferred Package CX-30, still deciphering the features and labyrinth of computer options. My previous cars had auto-fold mirrors but I couldn't find this feature on my CX-30. The manual references "manual fold mirrors", shows a cute diagram but the mirrors are very resistant to pressure. Does anyone have tips on how they're supposed to work?

The manual mirrors will fold towards the window. Perhaps you need to use just a bit more "pressure" to move them. It is the upper part of the mirror that folds not the entire mirror assembly. I don't usually fold mine but they definitely do fold.

You were quite correct. I was a bit too gentle pushing on the mirrors to make them fold in. Thanks for your help
