sorry R-Brown we were working on the same thing at the same time, but I don't know how to delete my post, however, here is the comparison to the 2020 models on MSRP, it would appear they have reduced the AWD upcharge from $2000 for the 2020 model to $1500 for the 2021 models, also no increase in MSRP for the GT version.

MSRP1 FOR THE 2021 MAZDA CX-30 IS AS FOLLOWS:

Front-Wheel Drivei-Activ All-Wheel Drive
GX$24,550 (’20 - $23,950)$26,050 (’20 - $25,950)
GS$27,350 (’20 - $26,650)$28,850 (’20 - $28,650)
GS Luxury Package-$30,750 (’20 - $30,550)
GT-$33,850 (’20 - $33,850)

MSRP does not include $1,950 for destination and handling, taxes, title or additional fees. Dealers set actual sale prices.

I could be missing something but I don't see any changes from the 2020 version to this one. Aside from not needing to go to the premium package for the sunroof? What extra stuff did they add to this car?

I'm sorry but WTF is up with the naming schemes. I've always thought it was stupid that trims were named differently between USA and Canada, but why call it "2.5 S" now?!?

in 2020 they didn't really have a name for the base model which might have caused some confusion, so now it has a name :D However, never mind that, what the heck is a CX-40?

This ticks me off. I was looking at the Preferred as giving me what I want and need including Sirius XM. Now it appears that model has dropped Sirius and added moonroof which I don't want or need. I now have to pay two grand more to get Sirius? Love this package concept. Want a $300 item, no problem just buy a $2300 upgrade.

Looks like they also dropped the Bose from the Preferred too. Thanks for nothing.

Carscoops says the Preferred trim will have a slightly revised exterior (presumably that will apply for Premium as well). It will be interesting to see what that entails.

In short, this is exactly the same car as last year. If you were hoping for the turbo, keep waiting. The only difference is existing features being moved between trims. I'm glad I bought this year when the Bose was still part of the mid-level Preferred package.

Yes, you are lucky. How many customers would choose moonroof over Bose and Sirius. I think a minority. Work around for me would be to downgrade to a Select and just get a Sirius app on my phone so i can get it through Android auto. Save additional 2K with almost no difference in equipment that I need or care about. Yeah, no power seat, but I'm a single driver who almost never adjusts his seat.
