Where was you CX-30 made? Like my 2015 3, mine was made in Mexico. There has been a lot of debate over the years if quality differs between those made in Mexico or Japan. I've not read anything conclusion either way.

Same. I had also read that all North American models are made in Mexico.
Mine was made in February.
Does anyone have any concerns being they are made in Mexico at the Salamanca plant vs Japan? From what I've read, this plant is on par with Japan now as it's been online for several years.

I owned a 2018 Mazda 3 built in Mexico for 2 years and 20000 miles. Never had one issue with the car.... Build quality was also spot on. Now we have two cx30's in the family and they are perfect in every way. One of them needs the radar checked out but that has nothing to do with assembly.
Same. I had a 2015 3 and I ended up putting 65k miles on it. Zero problems.

Now I need to look. My dealer said it was made in their new plant in Alabama, but I don’t think it is even open yet.

I bet your VIN starts with 3MV DM meaning Mexico. I do believe there are some rare Japanese builds in US as well, then it starts with JMZ DM. I still have a Japanse one, the 2.0L G engines for EU are now all coming from Mexico. The 2.0L X engine (EU engine only) are from Japan I believe.
