That's true. I think it's in reference to Kangaroos.

I understand the issue with moose is that the weight is high. If you hit them, their 500 pound body goes through the windshield.

I need to correct the estimate. Apparently they weigh 1,200 pounds or half the weight of a Mazda Miata.

I am getting off subject here, but this is interesting, at least to me. Jeep Cherokee Moose test. It rolls its front tire under to such an extreme, it's bead dislodges and deflates the tire.

I hit an elk with a 1986 Chrysler New Yorker. It went over the roof at around 77km/hr.
