My previous Mazda had the ability to play any folders contents. This means playing all songs from a specific artist on a USB drive. This seems to be missing in the Mazda Connect of the CX-30, or am I just pushing the wrong buttons?

it might help us if you filled out your location and what you are driving in the Account settings, or put that info in your signature line.

See page 2-57 in the Mazda connect manual - how to use the tuner controls (icon)

Just a CX-30 skyactiv-x. The manual says nothing about this feature, however it was present on the previous Mazda Connect interface.

is your music in a folder then a artist folder? like folder in a folder ting
Yes, artist folder that contains albums of that album. My previous Mazda with the previous iteration of Mazda connect could play folder, thus all songs of one artist. Can't find play folder, only select songs when browsing folders.

I also have issues with the Connect folder system.
Using the same USB stick from my previous CX5 with 4 folders the unit often jumps to various mp3 files randomly even when it should by playing a specific folder, which is annoying.
I have also noticed when attempting to use my main music folder with over 4000 tracks, many files are not recognised either as songs, artistes or albums, I would be surprised if over 1000 files are actually showing, my dealer has no answers even after resetting the system. I have updated to 1049 firmware but this does not help.
