Just purchased a 2021 cx 30. First NEW car we have bought since 1991 which was a Dodge Grand Caravan to haul our family of 5. We are now down to 2 and hope this give us the same reliability as the Dodge. Lots of whistles and bells to absorb from the owners manual.

Welcome from another new CX30 owner!

Mazda's reliability has generally been quite good for many years now. Also, the basic platform is now in its third year of production so the initial bugs should be worked out, and the powertrain is well proven. We had a 1998 Plymouth Voyager for family purposes and it was the MOST unreliable car I've ever owned.

The bells and whistles on today's tech-loaded vehicles can be daunting and owner's manuals are not always as thorough or as clear as we might like. Happily, MANY people post videos on YouTube that explain and demonstrate these new and rapidly evolving features. For instance, I found this overview of the CX30 "Infotainment System" posted by a Mazda dealer rep FAR more focused and helpful than the demonstration given by our salesperson when we picked up the car. Just be aware that there are many differences between the models in different countries and not all might apply to your vehicle
