I currently own a Subaru XV crosstrek and moving to the cx30 for the following reasons. Firstly i should have taken notice of what I read before buying. The XV is underpowered for my needs. If you do long driving stints the XV simply lacks what I consider safe passing power. The dash of the XV is distracting, 3 screens is overkill and the ergonomics confusing. Placing the auto hold button right near move is plain thoughtless and dumb. Mirrors that don’t auto fold or doors that don’t auto lock is bewildering for a car trying to be safe. no Doubt Subie is better off road but that’s not my main use. The Mazda feels far more upmarket, indeed a Lexus UX competitor. It has more safety features, more luxury and much more grunt.
