Newbie question, thinking of making a switch, Forester to cx 30

Again, I really appreciate the great advice I'm getting from all you guys. Obviously there's a bunch of stuff I'm going to have to research before making a decision. Burning excess oil on the turbo is not a good thing, it's something I definitely don't want to worry about and something that could very well be a deal breaker for me when deciding between the turbo vs non turbo version of the CX 30.
I've had my CX-30 turbo for about 6k miles and never had an issue with low oil.

My folks have a 2016 Forester. CX-30 interior is much smaller, ride is much stiffer... it really is just a small car while the Forester is a small SUV. My dad loves the mileage he gets and the range; I get about 22mpg (mostly city) so I fill up around 200miles or so.
