No Switched Fuses for Radar Detector/Dash Cam

Hi, just wanted to ask how the OBD2 board power adaptor worked for you? Did you manage to get parking mode working with it?
No this did not work for me. It kept the power on way too long after the key was turned off for my comfort level. I ended up running a 15' long USB cable from the dashcam to the center console - tucking it in all along the way. It turns off when key is off.

Checking on the latest best practice here. I have a base model with no Homelink and no wireless charger.

I'm seeing you guys talk about mirror power, possibly-intermittent USB or the hatch fuse for the trunk for dashcam power. Which works best? Sure would be great to add also Homelink to a dashcam combo. I have a 4k mirror cam that covers front & back like this on another car. Just need the garage door opener added.

Wanted to thank someone here (forgot who now) who mentioned using the ODBII port for power for dashcams. I've ordered this and it's got to be much easier than removing pillar trim, mirror housings and tapping into wires in tight spots. I'm also attempting to use this with an ODBII splitter so I can add another device (for tracking my kid's driving style for a while)
