Greetings, fellas.

Owner of a 2022 Mazda CX-30 AWD Select trim. Bought brand new in October of 2022 and have since put 42k miles on it since. Only one major issue with it since day one; stuck open thermostat @ 33k miles (Dec 2024), which was warranted by Mazda and will be covered till 150k miles. Lots of fun road trips, winters safely traveled, and even got stuck in mud and rescued by a Cyber Truck this year. The NA CX-30 is such a fun car to drive in spite of the higher center of gravity and lower output engine.

For my final road trip of 2025, it got me from Altoona, IA (958' elevation) to Pigsah, IA (1,063' elevation) averaging 39 MPG on 50-55 MPH back roads. This took good gas/brake pedal discipline to get it but it was fun to achieve as I normally give this thing the beans if the pavement is amicable.

I'm in the Iowa Army National Guard and am deploying to the middle east so I won't see my CX-30 till spring of 2026. So many midwestern road trips in the queue when I get back.

Can I post more than one? Bought this car brand new in March. Very excited. It is a blast to drive compared to our 12 year old CX-5. Yes, I am a serious photographer. I was trying to show the 'S' on the side (first image).

Trip from Altoona, IA (958′ Elevation) to Eau Claire, WI (787′ Elevation) for the weekend. Averaged 35.5 MPG round trip, 70% of the trip was on 55-60 MPH roads.
It's 2022 CX-30 Select, bought brand new in October 2022 and it now has over 20k miles. No major issues, just lots of fun driving miles.
