I traded in my Mazda 3 for the 30. One of the things about the 3 I loved was that the space above the tires was minimal. Not so enamored of the life gap between the fender wheel well and the tires.Currently on 18x8.5 with 38 offset. Wrapped in 235/55r18. No rubbing but I am on the edge of it.
Currently did 1.3 inch or 35 mm drop. Only issues is I am running stock OEM struts and shocks. Hopefully they last due to change in spring rates and damper.
Spring costed me 390 CAD.
What is the widest tire that can be installed on the cx-30? How much can you lower the car, and what does that modification cost?I've made that drive quite a few times the scenery is absolutely stunning and the road is fun to drive.
Looks like you lowered the body... Not much space between tire and fender...looks good. That's my complaint about the look. My 2019 Mazda 3 tires were very close to the fender while my 30, even with 18" tires further away.
I bought my cx-30 and traded in my 3...I was surprised the wheelbase and length were shorter in the 30. Definitely easier to get in and out of. Turbo is very nice...I liked the red interior in the 3...the combo of brown, black and white seats in the 30 isnt as classy. Two turbos.
