Another odd reason is.........the Turbo engine seems to be the best in the 30 and the 3. I currently have a 50 Turbo loaner, and despite having the same Turbo engine, it's so heavy/slow.The size is one reason we bought a 30 over the 5. There is enough room behind to park a motorcycle!
Slower. Ride quality is the same to me. The 30 is a far smaller and lighter vehicle so it has more of the kick in the pants feel during hard throttle, and less body roll/twitchy during hard turns. 50 is gigantic (to me) so makes sense it's not as fast nor agile as the 30. BUT given the 50 Turbo's competitors (Subaru's, Toyota's, Hondas, which are biblically slow and no agility), it blows them all out of the water, then goes back for seconds.Slow? Or slower? I find the 50 more solid than the 30 with a better ride. Power delivery is the same just a bit less zippy.
I don't think it's gearing. Mostly weight. I didn't realize the 50 is 402 lbs heavier.Could it be the gearing? weight?
Looks clean! One of the features I like a lot is the strong side profile "s-curve".
YES. This alone makes it worth getting the Turbo, lol. I've seen tail lights on $100K+ cars that don't look as good as this.LOVE the Kodo “S” curve! And agree, the signature tail lights look good, too. View attachment 8058
