I like how small my Turbo Prem is.

The size is one reason we bought a 30 over the 5. There is enough room behind to park a motorcycle!

Another odd reason is.........the Turbo engine seems to be the best in the 30 and the 3. I currently have a 50 Turbo loaner, and despite having the same Turbo engine, it's so heavy/slow.

Slow? Or slower? I find the 50 more solid than the 30 with a better ride. Power delivery is the same just a bit less zippy.

Slower. Ride quality is the same to me. The 30 is a far smaller and lighter vehicle so it has more of the kick in the pants feel during hard throttle, and less body roll/twitchy during hard turns. 50 is gigantic (to me) so makes sense it's not as fast nor agile as the 30. BUT given the 50 Turbo's competitors (Subaru's, Toyota's, Hondas, which are biblically slow and no agility), it blows them all out of the water, then goes back for seconds.

Could it be the gearing? weight?

I don't think it's gearing. Mostly weight. I didn't realize the 50 is 402 lbs heavier.

Looks clean! One of the features I like a lot is the strong side profile "s-curve".

Also love the Turbo tail lights (with that additional LED strip); they look amazing at night.

Simple stuff like this makes me enjoy the 30 a lot.

YES. This alone makes it worth getting the Turbo, lol. I've seen tail lights on $100K+ cars that don't look as good as this.

Biased but I honestly think Mazda has the best design team in the business right now. The Kodo Language just WORKS so well, and have you guys seen the Iconic SP Concept?!
