Did the California and Oregon coastal trip before heading back to Canada
Had a blast doing the California trip. A lot of bends and curves. Did not struggle at all. Pretty responsive at 155000 km on the engine

Lowered suspension did help reduce the body roll and wider tires.

I've made that drive quite a few times the scenery is absolutely stunning and the road is fun to drive.

2024 CX-30 S Preferred with the "greige" seats and ceiling, ie lighter inside, not all black. Getting used to all the buttons after driving a car for 20 years that had a key and was easy to learn. Live in the wet area near Seattle. This group has been a help in learning about the car. The online manual is useful too.

What is the widest tire that can be installed on the cx-30? How much can you lower the car, and what does that modification cost?
Currently on 18x8.5 with 38 offset. Wrapped in 235/55r18. No rubbing but I am on the edge of it.
Currently did 1.3 inch or 35 mm drop. Only issues is I am running stock OEM struts and shocks. Hopefully they last due to change in spring rates and damper.

Spring costed me 390 CAD.

I traded in my Mazda 3 for the 30. One of the things about the 3 I loved was that the space above the tires was minimal. Not so enamored of the life gap between the fender wheel well and the tires.
But getting out of the car is easier than the 3.

Same but I had a lowered genpu speed 3 fully modded. Quite happy my BBS on the speed was able to fit the cx30.

I did not measure anything and wing it lol
I wanted to used my fd rx7 16 inch rims for winter step but the damn electronic e brake was too big.
