Hope to pick your collective brains...
Have trawled through the car settings and cannot find a solution, so don't know if this is simply an annoying quirk of the car or I have missed something (entirely possible!).
So when I get into the car by either using keyless entry, or using the remote control, all doors (front and rear) will unlock and allow access to the car.
However after driving and then attempting to exit the car, the front doors will open from the inside or outside but the rear doors will not open when using the external or internal door handles, unless the remote control is used or the door lock release button on the driver's door is pressed). This can be quite annoying at times.
It is not just me that's noticed this, my wife and daughter complain about this too. For me it was never a big issue but they use the car to commute to work and make frequent use of the back seats to carry their laptops etc.
I doubted if the child lock switch on the rear doors was the issue (as I would expect that the doors should still be able to be opened from the outside) but I checked anyway and the child locks are not in operation.
Have I missed a setting that can be changed to allow all doors to open after the ignition is turned off, rather than just the front doors?
