Thanks for that I think my wheels are 18’’ what size do I need for the space saver is it the 17 inch
in Canada & the US there is only one size space saver spare T135/80D17 103M, regardless of your exterior tire size (this is common among many manufacturers). This info is in your owners manual, check yours for the UK specs.

The employee you have spoken to is wrong. However you do require more than a spare wheel - new foam polystyrene liner and jack. Suggest you ring the parts department at your supplying dealer and you will get part numbers and prices. The issue with the spare wheel size is not the diameter but the width. If you want a full size spare wheel then you will have to fabricate a support to raise the floor level

I was advised by Mazda UK that Mazda will provide a space saver wheel. Let us know what size it is since I have one on my Mazda 3 I might be able to use when I buy a CX30 later this year.

Do you know when your car is due? Be great to see a picture - and at the same time you can complete your profile and post an intro! :D(y)

Welcome to CX30Talk

Please take a moment and update your profile like this:
  1. Go to top right, click on your avatar then click on Account Settings
  2. Then in Location field, enter your ‘Location’ (The town and country you live in).
  3. In Vehicle Details: enter your CX-30 details.
  4. Scroll down to the bottom and click on Save
The Vehicle Details and Location are important when discussing issues about your car, as model features vary depending on model and the market where your car was sold. Having the model listed in Vehicle Details means it is visible beside your posts and means that others can see what model you have without having to ask in their replies.

UK wise, to confirm sc489 post, engage with the parts department of the dealership. I purchased the spare wheel kit post car delivery (silly price though).
The parts chap has to build the kit up from separate items (each with its own part number (wheel, liner, jack etc)).

When the parts department look their catalogue/system for 'CX30 spare wheel', it lists all the items needed and they then crack on and put in multiple item orders.

What size is the CX30 spare wheel? I wonder if the space saver wheel I bought for my Mazda 3 is the same size.

Re- size, I didn't take note. I assembled/installed all the parts but never made a note of the tyre size. The invoice just lists the individual part numbers for the kit.

Note- there are two kits, with/without Bose, and I believe from the parts chap that the spare wheel kit/space saver kit cannot be used with the 'smart cargo system (SCS)', so if the car has the SCS from new, you lose that if you want the spare wheel.
