tbh i hardly drive the cx30, and i haven't looked at speed camera setting as assumed it would of been carried over from cx3 etc, along with the next street name...disappointing its not available..

Just updated to 10047👍.. very easy and straight forward😎.. as above just wizz the 10mm but off the battery negative and the lady speaks again😄😄😄a 10 minute job...

We have just updated the Mazda3 and left the car locked for 5 minutes... No need to remove battery negative..

Glad your all sorted... as i said in previous posting, i had a run up the M1 passing many cameras and the alert works well, just a note , there was no info in the HUD....nor have i tried to see if the alerts work with out the sat nav on..

you just need to update gracenote now.

Better half was out for dinner with her friend this evening and I dropped them off in the local town center and yup speed camera ahead every couple of minutes including a new one I didn't see previously, glorious

Still haven't seen the 'visual' warning maybe as the navigation wasn't on screen at the time.

So just to confirm.. you get alerts even if you're not in the sat nav...?

The only visual alert I see is on/in the sat nav screen

While out and about yesterday I was having a look at this. I think as others have said it applies the countdown on the bottom left of the navigation screen showing distance to the speed camera, no hud or dash information is shown unless I'm missing some combination with the speed warnings.

I didn't have a chance to go back with it switched off and navigation on to see if that then vanishes but I'd say that's likely it.

Cool, it does seem UK models are shipping with 45, same with Mazda 3's at the moment (August 2020 at time of writing)

My son's Mazda3 September 2019, was on 19, our January 2020 cx30 was on 42......

Hi All. Stumbled across this site when looking for advice on where to find the speed camera warning on the cx30, which I just had delivered 3 days ago. I've noticed that a lot of the people on here have the sport model. I have the se l lux. Does anyone know whether its available irrespective of model? I've checked & I'm on version 45 too 😞 thanks

I followed the instructions found in the thread to update our cars... works for CX30 GT sport and mazda3 sel lux, as we have both. Takes 10 mins to do just follow the instructions 👍😎

Sounds like you have set the speed limit alert...

Try removing battery negative for a few minutes..this will reboot everything...

it is in the thread somewhere, if there is no voice when hitting the voice command button, disconnect the battery for a ew swconds..

Thanks everyone for your input, I can confirm the voice command works ok and I have disconnected the battery for 5 minutes but still no warnings. Sadly, I have no confidence in my dealer as they could not discover why my battery was continually dying until I forced something from them via Mazda UK.
They claimed the 1047 or even 1045 Infotainment updates did not exist until I showed them some print outs from this forum and even then they said it did not apply to this model only the Mazda 3 ( I assumed they were the same car in many ways) Speaking to them today they claimed the CX30 does not give out speeding or camera warnings. I suspect they have not updated the firmware correctly, but getting them to admit it will be impossible

This dealer handed the car over to me with almost 46PSI in all the tyres, no water in the screen washer bottle and.the engine cover unlocked, flapping around and making noises. My first service will be elsewhere.

They have ruined what should have been a great experience of a new car, especially after my previous CX5 not having a single fault in the 39 months I drove it.

I'm sure the speed camera alert is an easy fix.... It's a pity how dealers easily spoil what should be nice experience...our Mazda dealer in Derby is family run and they make you feel part of the family...
My son bought a new seat Ibiza from Bristol Street motors derby and to cut a long story short... They damaged the car, then damaged it even more when trying to bodge the repair and even when taking it for repair they were caught in dash cam taking the car for a jolly picking up mates ets ... This car was new less than 100 miles. ...I complained to the CEO and got compensation and a grovelling apologies...

Try and reboot the infotainment again...our voice commands worked straight after either locking car or a few minutes or disconnected the battery negative for 30 seconds

Tried that but it says that there are no update files. Probably because its on the latest version. Will probably have to wait until the next software update. I don't use the voice recognition much, it's just knowing it's not working correctly.

What about download the files again and try another update..

I have discussed the missing verbal overspeed warnings with the dealer, he claims these are not available in CX30's with Heads up Display on the windscreen and my model the GT Sport Tech obviously has this feature,

I am pretty sure he is just making this up, could anyone with the same model as model confirm if they get the lady warnings if over speeding...Thanks.

She alerts to speed camera ahead... I don't have the verbal over speed limit activated.. will check next time I have the keys

Tbh I use Android Auto... I find it better and I get speed camera alert from Google..even pot hole alerts etc...
