Had mine tinted on Wednesday. 15% on the front windows and 5% on the top of the windshield, even though I think the strip looks like 15%..anyway, it works really well with the sun. Any tint in my state on the front windows and windshield is illegal (past the AS1 line) but it makes the car look so nice.

I have the Premium Plus package which came with partial windows tinted. Driver & pasenger front door windows NOT tinted. At purchase time my dealer offered to do matching tint for the untinted, the price was reasonable and I did it. Apparently many of their buyers ask for this. I've had full allowable tint on my last four cars and now can't live without it! No legal issues in my state, it's within allowable tint levels.

Yeah I’m definitely not legal in NJ but I don’t care. It looks so good!

Anyone knows what is the factory window tint percentage on the back passengers windows. I want to match the front windows with the same tint percentage they add to the back ones but in Illinois there are restrictions that apply based on if only the rear windows are tinted vs all
Windows are tinted.
I know that shops specialized on this have a way to determine the percentage but I am wondering if someone had this measured and know this number.

It’s about 20%. If you want to match get 15%. That’s what I did and they match perfectly. Remember, the windshield let’s in a lot of light, that’s why they use 15% up front.

The tints that dealerships use are poor/mediocre grade at best (despite what they charge you for it) & don't block much heat from coming through the glass at all. After I purchased my 2020 Corolla SE sedan 6-MT in late 2019, I took it to my preferred tint shop in early 2020 to have all the dealership tint stripped from the side/back windows & redone with a top-tier heat reflective tint (at 30%) & had the full inside of the front windshield done as well (70%). The difference was night & day how much heat could be felt coming through the glass, even with a lighter % tint on side/back than what the dealership used. So now, even when it is 110-120 degrees outside & full sun intensity out here in blistering southern AZ, my A/C is perfectly happy running lower settings & minimal effort to keep things as cool as I want them inside the vehicle.

I had 3M Crystalline 70 on the front windshield of my previous vehicle and it was great during the day but dangerously too dark at night, even with high beams on. Crystalline 90 would be a less effective barrier during the day but dramatically safer at night.
