I have reduced the tyre pressures in line with the recommended pressures of 36 psi with the tyres cold.
Previously I had increased the pressures to 41/42psi to suit a full load of passengers and luggage.
The vehicle status in the my Mazda app still shows the pressures as 41/42 psi despite my having reduced the pressures. I’ve rechecked the pressures to make sure they are 36psi.
Anyone know what I am, probably stupidity, doing wrong?

The app will not refresh tire pressure until you drive the car a bit. I've noticed even the tire pressure shown in the in-car info will not update immediately when starting the car after adding/reducing tire pressure. Have never tried just letting it idle for a couple minutes....that may trigger an updated also....not sure.

I wouldn't worry too much about the reading you get on your phone app. I get different readings all the time I drive it depends on the temp. outside, how long you drive. Just as long as the readings are not too high or too low. My phone app readings and my tire gauge don't always match.

Yep, must-drive, and it's never perfect in cold weather. always fill cold, undriven in the morning. Don't worry about the app reading, it's always high on mine. the car dash will tell you if something drops sharply. Also, we need to discuss this Tyre vs Tire thing someday :)
