I used to undercoat the '06 Chev HHR and it did great, only the wheel wells got the usual rust. But a new vehicle...I wouldn't bother till it's at least a few years old. Keep in mind that when you're ready you don't have to use liquid spray undercoating. Mazda and other retailers install electrical devices that don't drip junk on the floor of your garage. But please do check at what point they need to be installed to be effective. My father in-law sprayed his '04 Chev truck since new and the frame, rocker panels and under truck cab still rotted out...just sayin. I'll be moving this Friday to a heated underground parking for the next year or two then buying a house with a garage so I'm not going to bother. I extended it's warranty to 7 years so I'll own it for at least that long.
