What Have You Done To Your CX-30 Today?

New member here 🤗Looking to upgrade my wheels and tires to 235/50/18 but also was curious about lowering in the future. Anyone run this current set up and have any issues with rubbing? Thanks!

I did the two years servicing. 40 000 km (25000 miles) in less than 2 years.
Rather expensive servicing but still very happy about my CX-30 Skyactive G, nothing important to complain about really. A very nice car.

That is the 2nd of 4 included/free service visits that came with my CX-30 purchase back on 2/2/22 (Every 6-months or 5K miles, whichever comes first). My Mazda dealership also provided me a complete video after I brought it in for my first service last month. I love this feature, great job Mazda!

The subdued ambient lighting here (& likely better camera) makes your Polymetal Gray Metallic paint look so much nicer than any of my pics ever do.

Different?
Bigger interior is very noticeable.
Handles very similar, perhaps a little more planted due to length and weight.
Best part of the color is it is the same color as the dirty road slop.🤣

Yeah, I picked up the full interior, as well as the cargo area. I've had them in past cars and they hold up pretty well.

Never thought of the color as a kind of "sloppy roads" camo, I like that now that you mention it, I wonder if a teflon finish would be feasible. I'll bet it feels like a hanger as opposed to a garage, size wise. Have you had a chance to check the MPG against the 30 assuming the same usage?

Too early in its life to compare mpg.
As you may know it takes a bit of a break in period to achieve the eventual real mpg.
I’ve only got just under 200 kms at the moment.

Yes, Zircon Sand definitely hides the melting slushy slop spray better than any other color I have ever had.👍
I have not yet had the chance to put my ceramic wax on from Meguires.
It definitely makes washing off the dirt easier and beads up very well for about 3 months.

No doubt you'll be putting miles on this spring, 200kms is a jaunt to the coffee shop. Buying a car to match the local road dirt is a good idea when you think about it. Our 30 is the deep crystal blue, the wifes' favorite color, her third car this color. As far as keeping it clean you might as well have black. I put two coats of ceramic this last fall, it keeps it clean but it fingerprints better than the FBI. Used to get a coating we put on sailplanes which would allow you to wipe the bugs off with a wet "clean" rag but I don't think its on the market anymore. Well, drive it hard and don't worry about the slop!

2023 cx-30 base-floor mats set installed got it from Amazon. Also to install 4 wheel mudguard when Chicago weather get better?

Thanks, I am pleasantly surprised by how it looks, not bad for 40 bucks. My fiancé says that if she hadn't seen the car before I put it on, she would have never known it didn't come this way.
