This afternoon I installed my CS rear sway bar. I don't have any driving impressions at this time.
I was going to install the black roof reveal moldings in place of the roof rack rails but, I have misplaced the install clips for the moment. The xxxxing original rail mounting clips are a PITA to remove, they were heavily coated with red thread locker at install.

Honestly, yea. I'm relatively new to the car world and car care, but all the education of maintenance and detailing has brought immense joy. :)
The wife and I once had collector cars we would take, drive, to car shows. It was a lot of fun getting your car cleaned and prepped for the judges. If another competitor needed something, he forgot or had any other problems, you'd lend whatever help etc he needed or help do something he was not familiar with or unaware of. After all, how can one claim the first prize, first among many, if your competition was unable to present his best effort. It was a lot of fun. Of course, if he won, especially, if with your help, you try to step and take credit, accuse him of cheating, and any other lie you can think of. All the while he's standing there with the trophy and a big smile. Everybody gets in on this and everybody is truly happy for the winner, especially if he's new. There is a pay back, if you are the winner, when all retire to Mad Anthony's, in Auburn Ind., you buy the beer for those who contributed to your success and sarcastically deride you, your car, The circumstances of your birth etc. you get the idea great fun, best friends. The wives go shopping, we watch the parade of all cars entered, and the wives spend more than the supplies you brought with you, but...they don't bitch about how many beers you've had. I really miss it.

I had mine done as well with the exception that I had done the full front guard (Fender). The detailer was also real great and did the top of the edge near the boot (not sure of N America word for boot).

Okay if boot is a trunk what do you wear on your feet?
And if bonnet is a front hood what do you put on a babies head?
🤣
Sorry but my late Mum was a Welsh born lady, I learned many a new word meaning from her.
I won’t go into what she used to call a cigarette.😳

My Grand parents immigrated here in 1922 from near Backworth England, I started school with many expressions confused my classmates and teachers. I still use some on my Grand children, they think is strange, or funny. Cigarettes, yep, and cigars.
Thanks for the reminders.

Well I have an excuse. British born, of part welsh heritage, living in Australia.
Yep the bonnet is the hood (Pop the bonnet as the mechanic would say)
Trunk is the boot (get my boots out of the boot - btw Trickster ;) or as my English/part welsh Dad used to call them, Wellingtons for gumboots)
I did see the one previously about what we call the parcel shelf (cant remember what you guys call it, that part that's removable and sits over the boot :p).

Yup my Mum was from Cardiff, so Wellingtons were what I was told to wear in the rain too.
I think most here refer to it as a cargo shelf, I call it a PITA. Removed day one.
