LOL, no beverage but that is where the hand sanitizer livesWell I had one on my 30 and it was always left open, so never really used.
I always travel with a beverage when in a vehicle so it was a pointless feature for me.

Did it cut down the noise in the cabinPicked up my CX-30 rear cargo area cover-shelf this afternoon from my local Mazda dealership & plopped it in before driving off. Pretty overpriced for what it is, but I still wanted it, and had been meaning to get one for a while now. I bet Mazda makes over 1000% profit on these babies.![]()
My 2022 CX-30 cabin is already pretty quiet/insulated (compared to my previous vehicle), but I'm sure every little bit helps, & that it will likely help muffle/suppress any noises that may originate from the rear cargo space or underside of vehicle.Did it cut down the noise in the cabin
LOL, I am never that bored🙂I think there is a noticeable difference if you sit in the rear with and without the cargo tray at certain speeds and road surfaces where road noise dominates. (at least on Mazda3 it was)
I have my microphone that I used to measure the sound system of the car and maybe one weekend when bored I'll put it in the rear and drive on the same road with the same speed with and without it.
Yup I glanced over it. Very good....must have been a really boring day🤣🤣
All good, keep up the good workEh, just the initial excitement.
And?
Nothing that I could tell. But I'm just driving to the grocery store. And?
Noticeable change?
Don't think you're gonna feel much at normal speeds. High speed handling is where it will show up to a degree. The brace (or Monte Carlo Bar, as some of us OGs call it) stiffens up the front end, making the body slightly more rigid for an improvement in high speed handling due to the body not flexing as much. Throw on a set of sticky, wider tires and you will start to feel this performance upgrade more. But one thing, that brace along with the CAI you have, really looks good in your engine bay. May get one just for the looks.....Nothing that I could tell. But I'm just driving to the grocery store.
Added hood gas struts, and CX-30 sill plates front and back. Looking for protection for the black plastic at the entry sills.Cargo box get. Yakima RocketBox Pro 14.

Sorry to ask what may be a dumb question. I see this part on Mazdaswag and it says it doesn't fit my vehicle. '23 Turbo Premium Plus. But I think you have the same car, right? Weird because the part on the Mazda website is also this part number. Mazdaswag mentions it fits other 2023 CX-30s but not mine. Thanks for your time.Yes it is.
Part number: DGH9-68-310-02 and got it from Mazdaswag.
I was surprised none of the CX-30s came with it, however on my '19 Mazda3 I had it.
I haven't measured the sound level but I think it helps a bit also with keeping the road noise lower in the back; I removed it once on my Mazda3 and I heard more road noise from the back.
