Hi everyone, Which trim package is the best buy in your opinion and why?
My current car is a 2017 Honda HR-V EX and not sure if the Select , Preferred or the Premium package is the way to go.

*Added the select trim to the question

Car and Driver : "We would choose the Select trim, as you get more features for not much more money. The Select comes with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, and keyless entry...." 2020 Mazda CX-30 Review, Pricing, and Specs

I went with Car and Driver's advice and chose Select trim. I would have liked power seats, folding mirrors, and power liftgate but that would have required the Premium package (an extra $4300). Not worth it for me. Also consider the Premium has Cylinder Deactivation.

I think select is the best bang for your buck but we wanted leather and a sunroof and like the extras that came with the Premium so it is really just up to you and what you want to spend and need in yours.

I went premium mainly b/c the polymetal gray color looks so good and it's only available in the highest trim. Jerks. The interior is also really, really nice and comfortable.

If you don't care about that paint color, leather seats, and the moonroof (the paddle shifters are nice but I seldom use them), then go preferred.

The best trim value is the one that offers the best mix of features at a price one is willing to pay for them. So it’s personal. I went with Preferred over Select because I wanted the Bose speaker system, Sirius XM Radio, power driver’s seat with 2 way memory and heated front seats. The Preferred trim also doesn’t have any features I don‘t want. What the Premium has that I like are the adaptive front headlights and power lift gate but I didn’t want a moonroof, cylinder deactivation and roof rails.

Thanks everyone for your input.
I was going to get the Select package but the dealer gave me the employee price here in Hawaii for the Deep Crystal Blue Mica / Preferred Package FWD. So it ended up about $10 more a month than the Select package.
Just love the car so far.
