Yeah, if you're used to the old way it'll definitely take some adjustment! I take it your car doesn't have the paddle shifters? I found I use them much more than the column now.

They may have updated this for the 2022 model, but my 2021 I hate the wiper settings. the first level is supposed to sense how fast to go, but doesn't usually sense, and never goes quite fast enough on the highest setting. The next setting is faster than necessary. and the highest setting is slower than could be needed. I suppose if the variable setting was more sensitive, the middle setting would be good. but in heavy rains, the highest setting is simply not fast enough.
For all of the other safety components, this feels like an oversight.

Yes and no. No, they can't be lifted as we traditionally would be able to, but there's a procedure outlined in the manual that addresses this. Something about clicking your heels together or something...;)
Lift the hood, access them from there. Shut off car in mid wipe, clean under them, clean wiper itself.

Or……without starting the vehicle and not touching the foot brake, touch the start button to turn on accessories, then touch the button again to turn it off and within 30 seconds of doing this push the wiper stalk UP two times and the wipers will then be in the service position on the windshield.
