CMU Genuine Mazda Connect Firmware Update .kwi Files

Dear Sir,

I have a Mazda 3 Hatchback 2023. The software version is CMU_7000C0A-NA06_12018.kwi but it does not have wifi connection. Does the car have software and hardware to enable wifi connection?

I appreciate your help.

Hi all,
Mazda has just released a NEW CMU Update for Mazda Connect for 2024~ CX-30 in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and UK.

CMU_7230C1A- EU03_10026.kwi * 2024 MY CX-30 and Mazda 3.

Here is the changelog (what bugs were fixed)
The following symptoms can be solved or changes have been made by the latest software.

(Ver. 7230C1A-EU03_10026)
  • The CarPlay icon may not be displayed.
  • Mazda Connect system may not be available.
  • While using navigation, the speed limits guidance may be incorrectly displayed.
  • When searching for charging spots, the number of available spots may not be displayed.
  • The time display may be shifted during GPS synchronization.
  • When setting a route, speed camera icons may NOT be displayed on the route.
  • When setting a route, highway exit information may NOT be displayed.
  • When driving into a school zone, the guidance may NOT be spoken.
  • Guidance message for speed camera may be spoken where no speed camera is found.
  • Guidance message for Congestion Charge Zone may be spoken where not applicable.
  • When issuing navigation commands via voice recognition, the screen display may become distorted.
  • While driving on the Autobahn with language settings, the Autobahn exit names (numbers) may be spoken in the local language.
  • The order of Swedish and Finnish has been corrected

(Ver. 7230C1A-EU03_10022)
• When talking with CarPlay or handsfree function on a vehicle with the standard amplifier and 6 speakers, the person on the line may hear low voice.

(Ver. 7230C1A-EU03_10020)
• [CX-30 RHD] Picture on the right side of the setting screen has been modified.

(Ver. 7230C1A-EU03_10016)
• Android Auto functionality becomes available with this version.
• In the favorite screen, setting menu for the active driving display has been added at the top row.

[Europe] CSSU regulation compliance:
This Service Information provides the software modification and the software information according to United Nations Regulation on Cybersecurity (CS) and Software Updates (SU).

North American Version is available

@rjn21 ASH8 is sleeping Down Under now, but based on the numbering convention as outlined in his opening post, this is indeed for MY2024 onwards.

Just to confirm with you all, mazda firmware update should be available when you go to settings and check for updates? Because I bought 2024 EU cx30 (with 10.25" screen but not the one with Alexa which I think it should be a 2025 model) and when I check for new fw updates it doesn't find any. Currently I'm on 10022 version and was wondering is I should wait for the OTA update or should I update manually

I'm wondering the same. I was expecting to see the firmware update but there is nothing yet. 2024 MY and my current version is 10020.

Hello good evening. I have a 2024 Mazda 3 purchased in Spain and it does not find updates when I search for them. I would like to update the version of Mazda Connect. I currently have 10016 and I have seen that 10026 already exists. Would you be so kind as to send me the file to update it?
