I'm thinking about adding the factory tow bar to the CX-30, but it's not clear from the image whether it uses a standard removable hitch or whether it's a single piece of metal attached to the frame. Does anyone know for sure?
(This is in Australia where the tow bar is a standard option.)
The reason for asking is that I want to be able to remove the hitch as I will only be towing infrequently and don't want the bar protruding from the back where I'll no doubt kick it with my shins numerous times.

At the bottom of the hitch there appears to be some sort of ring-pull which might be a release for the tow bar, but hard to say for sure.
