Does anyone in the UK know where you can get replacement wipers for fitting yourself? It's getting to the point where I need to change mine for the first time. Everywhere I look online doesn't seem to do anything for the cx30. I can find a rear one, but nothing for the front. Is this so you are forced to get the dealer to do it at great expense? Anyone done this themselves yet?

UK Valeo here https://www.valeoservice.com/en-com/techassist/product/702420484/about?country=GB
Cheapest option is to get replacement blade inserts from a Mazda dealer and are easy to fit once you work out which end of the blade to remove/fit the rubber ( as in UK meaning!). Certainly a year ago it was a Mazda stock item in Europe and took about a week from order to receipt at dealer,
May be wrong but the Valeo blade to arm connection is a lot lower profile than the Bosch offering

Just ordered a set (3) of Heyner Hybrid blades as the dealer did not have refills (we can sell you the complete blade from stock :devilish:) so will update on the quality when they arrive.

I think you could be correct there - I remember fitting Bosch to my previous Mazda 3 when we got it and they did seem rather bulky where they fitted the arms - why I decided to try a different make for the CX-30.

I haven't checked dealer prices yet, but I'm pretty sure they aren't cheap and it's the hassle of going there specially. I can't compare the price yet when I can't seem to find any other wipers that are guaranteed to fit. If I can get just the rubber inserts from the dealer, then I would be interested in that if the price is ok.

not sure in the UK, but the Canadian owners manual shows you how to replace the wiper blade and not the whole head which I think is a great idea (a whole head just creates unnecessary waste, also this is the way all wipers used to be replaced years ago).
I have not had to replace mine yet, but if the dealer sells just the blades and other places the whole head unit then I will be buying them from the dealer. I've had the wipers off to see how the spray head unit is mounted and it seems a very easy replacement. To me they look very similar to the Rain-X wiper heads I've had on other vehicles before.

Did you check the cost from the dealer to see if they are more expansive or are you just assuming that?
